The following conditions can be helped with Physiotherapy
- Stiffness
- Lameness and gait abnormalities
- Wounds - acute & non-healing
- Sore/stiff back
- Muscle Imbalance/weakness
- Compensatory problems
Many conditions may not be readily noticeable, but other signs may indicate there is a problem, such as:
- Unusual aggressiveness when being tacked up
- Sensitivity to saddle/girth
- Bucking/rearing
- Reluctant to make gait transitions
It is also possible for your Horse to be given an ‘MOT’ prior to making a change in its exercise regime - such as increasing workload following a winter layoff, change in activities. This can help identify if there are any concerns or problems that may arise.
If you are unsure whether physiotherapy can help please contact Lee on 0121 558 5020 or email leerudge@woofnwater.co.uk, for individual information.
Prior to starting treatment we do require a referral from your vet, a form can be downloaded from Downloads or alternately we will accept verbal instructions from them.
